Dayspring Coffee Mug Giveaway!

Hey Everyone!

I'm so excited to be able to bring you 3 different fun giveaways in the next few weeks! Today is only the first giveaway... so stay tuned!

I LOVE Dayspring. Seriously. I'm obsessed. Nothing brings me more joy than to sit down and browse through all of their gorgeous, inspiring merchandise.

While I was browsing through the Dayspring online catalog, I found the most perfect item to give away from their wonderful Life Collection.

So pretty {and of course, functional}! The verse written on this coffee mug is none other than John 10:10:

I have come that they might have Life, and have it to the full.

How's that to brighten your Monday morning up?

On top of being oh-so-stylish, the mug holds 16 ounces. :) Plenty of room for all the coffee (or tea, hot chocolate. etc.) your heart desires!

To enter to win this Dayspring coffee mug:

Leave a comment telling me what your favorite Bible verse is!
{Mine is 2 Corinthians 12:9, by the way.}

For Extra Entries, you may:

A {Scrapbooking} Giveaway!

Hey Friends!

Today, I'm so excited to share with you about My Memories Suite.

My Memories Suite is a digital scrapbooking software. I've always loved scrapbooking in real life, but I'd never tried it digitally before.

It's amazing. There is so much fun stuff you can create! My Memories gives you tons of different papers and even some free digital scrapbooking kits to get you started.

I just loved how easy this digital scrapbooking software was to operate. Though I'm a Photoshop guru, I'll admit, Photoshop can be hard to figure out. With My Memories Suite, you won't have to spend hours trying to figure it out. This software is one of the most simple ways to create the cutest scrapbooking pages!

They have pages and pages of different layout templates, so you can create anything you might possibly desire. They even have a feature among many others, which I think is just fabulous: You can integrate not only sounds, but videos!!

How cool is that? If I wasn't completely sold on digital scrapbooking before I discovered that, I am now. I still love traditional scrapbooking, but when you can make a scrapbooking page with pictures of your 20 month old cousin, and actually integrate a video of him talking (or eating an apple. Have you ever seen a baby eat an apple whole? Taking actual bites? It's amazingly cute. And now I can save that memory forever!)

When your finished creating you scrapbook, there are tons of ways for you to share it with friends and family. You can print the pages out individually, get your scrapbook made into a hard cover book, or even (my favorite) get a DVD or CD made with your scrapbooking creations on it so you can share it with anyone, anywhere!

Here is what the product page has to say about My Memories Suite 2.0:

"My Memories Suite version 2 software is a complete digital scrapbooking solution that provides a powerful set of creative tools and multiple sharing options that no other software can offer. Its intuitive workspace and enhanced time-saving features are perfect for a beginner to build an entire album in minutes, or to empower the design pro to build a scrapbook album masterpiece."

Guess What? My Memories wants to give one of my amazing readers their own copy of the My Memories Suite Digital Scrapbooking Software Version 2.0!

To Enter, it's simple: Just visit the My Memories website, check out their digital scrapbooking kits, and leave a comment with the name of a kit that you like!

For Extra Entries (Leave a comment for each one you do):

Like My Memories Suite on Facebook

Follow My Memories Suite on Twitter

Follow Faithful Always via Google Friend Connect

(Of course, if you already do any of these things, that counts too! So please leave a comment. :)

This giveaway will end on next Sunday (July 3rd) at 11:00pm, and the winner will be announce on the Fourth of July!

I know whoever wins will just love My Memories. Good Luck! :)

Choosing to SEE: A Giveaway!

Today, I am absolutely over the moon to announce a new giveaway. :) Trust me, your going to love it!

Choosing to SEE By Mary Beth Chapman

I first heard about this book through a friend, and I decided to give it a chance. I quickly purchased it on my Kindle {Yes, I have one and I love it!} and was COMPLETELY hooked by the end of the first chapter.

Here is what Amazon has to say:

I've told my kids for years that God doesn't make mistakes," writes Mary Beth Chapman, wife of Grammy award winning recording artist Steven Curtis Chapman. "Would I believe it now, when my whole world as I knew it came to an end?" Covering her courtship and marriage to Steven Curtis Chapman, struggles for emotional balance, and living with grief, Mary Beth's story is our story--wondering where God is when the worst happens. In Choosing to SEE, she shows how she wrestles with God even as she has allowed Him to write her story--both during times of happiness and those of tragedy. Readers will hear firsthand about the loss of her daughter, the struggle to heal, and the unexpected path God has placed her on. Even as difficult as life can be, Mary Beth Chapman Chooses to SEE.

Outside of this blog, I've been recommending this book left and right. I don't even know how to describe how amazing it is! Seriously, there aren't words.

This book is Mary Beth's life changing memoir about the process of choosing to SEE God in all things, even as she struggles through marriage, adoption, and tragedy. No one will be disappointed, because there is a little something for everyone: Laughter, crying, happiness, melancholia, and so much more. It's a true story of a real life.

I cannot recommend this book more highly. It is my all- time favorite!

I'm giving you the chance to become as utterly obsessed with Mrs. Chapman and her beautiful, empowering story as I am:

One lucky reader will receive a brand-new copy of Choosing to See!

Here is how you can enter to win:

"I am no longer my own blogger, but Thine, O Lord.

Refine me with each post how You will, rank me how You will.
Put me to service, or put me to suffering.
Let me post for Thee or be put aside for Thee,
Lifted high, only for Thee, or brought low, all for Thee.
Do with me and each post whatever you will, because You alone know best.

Let me not strive but submit Let me not compete but care
Let me not desire hits but holiness
Let me be a follower, instead of seeking followers.

Let my blog be full of Thee, and let it be empty of me.
Let me crave all things of Thee, let me care nothing of this world.
Let my words be worthy of the greatest of audiences: You.
And You are enough.

May I write not for subscribers… but only for Thy smile.
May my daily affirmation be in the surety of my atonement,
not the size of my audience.
May my identity be in the innumerable graces of Christ,
never, God forbid, the numbers of my comments.
May the only words that matter in my life not be the ones I write on a screen ---
but the ones I live with my skin.

I freely and heartily yield every sentence, every title, every post, every comment… or no comments… all to Thine pleasure and perfect will.

My only fame is that I bear Your name
My only glory is the gift of Your Grace
My only readership, Your eyes that seek to and fro to find a heart hard after You.
Make this so, oh Lord…

Yahweh, You alone are my God, not Google
Jesus, You alone are my Savior, not site meters
And Holy Spirit, You alone are my Comforter, not comments

So be it, today, yesterday, and every post to come.

This is my prayer I have made on earth and over this keyboard… let it be ratified in heaven.

Amen."

Now isn't that just beautiful?

I'm inspired. Way back in April of last year, I started the 7th Heaven Fan Blog. 7th Heaven was, and still is, one of my very favorite shows. I adore it. But the blog thing? Well, it didn't last too long. 5 days to be exact.

In December, when I was thinking of starting up blogging again, I had to ask myself, what do I want to blog about? It seems like an easy question, but it wasn't for me. I needed an idea that wasn't already taken (like a blog of another one of my favorite shows). I needed a purpose that would keep me going. Suddenly, it just came to me, like I had been struck by lightning. GOD!

I love God. I had been journaling for a while in October/November, but I couldn't keep up with it (a.k.a. I didn't feel like doing it.) I needed something more stimulating. What better than a blog! It's like a journal... except other people are reading it (31 to be exact!).

It's been so fun to meet new people, and post my new thoughts daily. It's been so fun to grow in the word of God and to grow into myself. It's been so fun to introduce my lovely readers to the world of Adoption and Reece's Rainbow. :) But... I can't forget why I'm here.

I'm here because I want to chronicle my life as I grow into my faith. I want to draw closer to God with every post I write.

Don't get me wrong, I love you guys! It's great to meet new people and discover through them. But I'm not about that. The fact that I kept up posting on here for over a month before I even had 1 follower, should tell you something. I didn't care. I felt God tugging on my heart, saying, " Don't be discouraged, and don't give up. It's a good thing your doing here, blogging out your love for Me. I am here, I will always be your follower." Seriously. It really is so true! God is interested in everything we are interested in. He is our #1 fan. We are his children, for crying out loud!

So I just wanted you to know: I'm REAL, I'm blogging straight from the HEART, and even if His name doesn't appear on my Google Friend Connect, GOD is my #1 follower.

Blessings!

Progress Report and Some Giveaways!

Wow! I'm sure you've noticed some changes around here today. I'm still experimenting with the design and I have a lot more to accomplish. So basically, just ignore it all until tomorrow evening when I'm finally finished!

I've created 5 different headers (I'll post them tomorrow) on Scrapblog. Don't get me wrong, I like Scrapblog, but to much of anything is not a good thing. I'm so tired of designing headers.

Anyway, I thought I would tell you everyone about a few great giveaways going on right now! Giveaways are a win-win situation: you get to help someone out while getting the chance to win a great prize all at the same time!
  • Sugar in my Grits: Jessica is hosting her first giveaway with the lovely prize of a $30 CSN stores giftcard! She hasn't had too many entries yet, so head over and enter! A giftcard is a pretty great thing to win; it's endless possibility! Ends on March 4th at 11:00pm.
  • Living in the Light: Lisa is hosting a huge giveaway to help bring Yana home. The giveaway includes an Xbox 360, an iPod nano, books, a very cute necklace, a Starbucks giftcard, and more! Go enter to help support Yana's family in getting her home as soon as possible. Ends on February 28th at 12:00pm.

Also, two other amazing bloggers are trying to win contests. Go vote for them!

Lot's going on in the blogging world this weekend! Please go help all 4 of these lovely ladies out! I know they would appreciate it. I'm off to finish this remodeling thing...

God Bless,
